Honest raster mode

Broad visual coverage, with structural tradeoffs stated first.

Arbitrary PDF colour rewriting cannot safely preserve every image, gradient, transparency group, spot colour, blend mode, and content stream. This release renders selected pages and rebuilds them as page images instead of claiming unsupported object-level fidelity.

Text becomes pixels

Search, selection, copying, text extraction, and native reading order are not preserved. The tool never labels raster output as searchable.

Accessibility structure is lost

Tagged-PDF structure, text alternatives, and source reading order are not carried into the image-only result.

Interactions are flattened away

Links, forms, annotations, scripts, layers, and other interactive structures are not recreated.

Colour spaces are normalized

Browser rendering converts source colour spaces for screen pixels. Spot colours, overprint, HDR, and print-production intent are not retained.

Transparency is composited

Masks, blend modes, and transparent objects are combined into final page pixels before the new PDF is built.

Output can be larger

Higher DPI stores more pixels. The result shows exact source and output sizes before download.
