Which DPI should you choose?

96 DPI is suited to screens and quick sharing. 150 DPI balances detail and file size for everyday printing. 300 DPI is a strong professional default. 600 DPI preserves more detail but creates much larger images and can use significant available memory.

JPG quality versus PNG

JPG is usually smaller and works well for photographed or scanned pages; adjust its quality when size matters. PNG is lossless and is often better for diagrams, sharp text, and interface captures. Multi-page results keep one numbered image per PDF page.
