Which values can update automatically?
Insert {page}, {pages}, {date}, {time}, or {filename}. The date and time use one timestamp for the whole export, while page values update for each physical page.
Can I apply text to only part of a PDF?
Yes. Enter a strict inclusive page range and optionally skip physical page 1 as a cover. Pages outside that target remain untouched.
Are the fonts embedded?
Yes. PdfEditorOnlineFree embeds OFL-licensed Noto Sans Regular or Bold so the added text does not depend on a remote or operating-system font.
Compatibility and limits
Very long field text can clip or meet another column; shorten it while watching the preview. Added page content can invalidate cryptographic signatures, so review signed or specialized PDFs after download.
