What the chosen order means

If a three-page report appears before a two-page appendix, the output starts with all three report pages and then adds both appendix pages. Use the move controls for keyboard or touch, or drag complete source rows with a pointer.

Document-level compatibility

Cross-document outlines, named destinations, form calculations, JavaScript, digital signatures, portfolios, embedded files, and links to another source document may need review after merging. Signed PDFs should be treated as new documents because changing their page set can invalidate signature expectations.
