PdfEditorOnlineFree validates and packages the selected files in this tab. ZIP compression changes how bytes are stored inside the archive, but extraction restores the original PDF bytes. There is no upload endpoint and your source files are never overwritten.

How to package PDFs

From separate files to one clear archive

    Choose or drop two or more PDFs. Invalid and duplicate files are named without removing valid companions.

    Rename entries and set their ZIP order with drag or the explicit move controls.

    Name the archive, choose compression, and optionally place everything inside one named folder.

    Review the source and estimated archive sizes, package locally, then download the completed ZIP.

Order and names are yours

ZIP entries follow the visible order. Safe filename cleanup removes path traversal and duplicate entry names while retaining a separate `.pdf` file for every accepted source.

Optional enclosing folder

Leave files at the archive root or place them under one folder. The suggested folder name is PDFs, and you can replace it before packaging.

Available available memory is the real limit

There is no artificial upload cap. Batches above the 150 MB desktop or 50 MB mobile smooth-use guides trigger a warning because inputs and the archive can briefly coexist in memory.

Frequently asked questions

Does this combine the PDF pages?

No. Every PDF remains a separate file inside the ZIP. Use Merge PDFs when you want one document with one continuous page sequence.

Are password-protected PDFs allowed?

Yes. Packaging does not open or alter the document, so a valid protected PDF can remain protected inside the archive.

Why can the ZIP be larger?

PDFs commonly contain compressed streams already. ZIP headers add a little overhead, and DEFLATE may find little additional repetition. The exact result and savings are shown after packaging.

Is anything sent over the network?

No PDF bytes are uploaded. After this page and its application code are available, selection, validation, compression, and download happen in the browser.
