Page boundaries
Every PDF page remains a labeled section, including pages with no native text.
Private PDF tool
Extract the selectable text already stored in a PDF while the file stays on this device. The tool keeps page boundaries visible and lets you copy the result or download a plain TXT file. It does not recognize text from image-only scans, and reading order can differ when pages use columns, positioned fragments, unusual fonts, or complex layouts.
Drop a PDF here
Nothing is uploaded. Choose one PDF with selectable text.
PdfEditorOnlineFree processes the document on device, reads one page at a time, and keeps both the PDF and extracted text in this browser tab. There is no document upload endpoint. Clipboard copy and TXT download go directly from this tab to your device.
Native text, honest limits
Many digital PDFs contain selectable characters in addition to their visual page content. This tool extracts that native layer in page order and preserves useful line breaks, but it does not promise exact reconstruction of columns, tables, or positioned labels.

See total pages, text-bearing pages, and native character counts.
Select the result normally or copy the complete page-separated text.
Save the same readable output as a locally generated text file.
A scan is usually an image of text rather than selectable characters. If no native text is found, this tool says so directly. Scanned and image-only PDFs require OCR, which is a future PdfEditorOnlineFree feature and is not silently performed here.
PDFs position characters on a page rather than storing every document as paragraphs. On-device extraction provides its best native reading order, which works well for ordinary documents but may need manual cleanup for multi-column layouts, tables, forms, or decorative text.
