Browser printing preserves searchable text
PdfEditorOnlineFree does not flatten the page into a screenshot. Chromium normally preserves selectable text and document links when you choose Print / Save as PDF. The browser print preview remains the final authority for pagination, scale, backgrounds, and whether a file was actually saved.
Active content removed
Scripts, handlers, forms, frames, plugins, SVG/MathML, unsafe schemes, and active CSS are removed before preview.
Explicit local image assets
Selected PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP files can resolve relative image paths without uploading the files.
Print controls
Choose paper, orientation, margins, optional header/footer text, preview zoom, and background graphics.
Remote resources stay blocked
External stylesheets, web fonts, images, media, CSS URLs, and other remote subresources are not fetched. Safe HTTPS links can remain in the printed document, but preview interaction cannot open them.
Fidelity has honest limits
Common layout, typography, colors, borders, backgrounds, tables, and shadows are supported. JavaScript-generated content, remote fonts, advanced paged-media rules, and identical pagination across browsers are not guaranteed or replaced with a success-shaped fallback.
Your HTML and local image assets are never uploaded. Processing, sanitization, preview, and print preparation run locally on this device.
